One of the upcoming projects we're most excited about here at our Growing in Harmony site is our plan to replicate the Havana Urban food growing model.
The Havana Model was a response to a food crisis in Cuba, you can read more about it here.
One of the things we love most about this approach is its focus on growing in difficult conditions, such as small spaces. Our project will give us the opportunity to pass these skills on to local people so if you've always wanted to grow some food but feel like you don't have the skills or the space at home, get in touch to become part of our group of Havana model students!
